There are two scenarios in which an archived application can be reactivated:
Scenario 1: The Application Was Already Assigned to an Active Job
If the application was assigned to a still open job but was archived (e.g., after a rejection), it can be reactivated directly in the job.
To do this, go to the affected job and switch to the “Applications” tab. Scroll down until you see the blue bar “Archived Applications”. On the right side, there is an arrow with which you can expand the archived applications. Find the desired application, click on the three dots on the right, and select “Reactivate”. The application will now appear again among the active applications for this job.
Scenario 2: The Job Has Already Been Filled or the Application Was Not Yet Assigned to a Job
If the original job has already been filled or the application was not yet assigned to a job, it can only be reactivated if the person was added to the candidate pool. For example, if the completed job was simply archived and all applications were deleted, the person’s application is no longer in the system.
To reactivate an archived application from the candidate pool, switch to the “Candidate Pool” tab at the top. Leave the search field empty and click on “Start Candidate Search Now” to display all existing candidates – or search specifically for a name. Then move the mouse over the desired person until the “Assign to a Job” button appears. Click on it and select an open job to add the person as an applicant again.
