How to Set Up the Yousty Interface
1. Request API Access Data from Yousty
2. Enter Data in Ostendis
Navigate to:
Company → Settings → Multiposting Settings
Enter the access data here.
3. Activate Ostendis Customer API
4. Link Yousty Apprenticeships
- Publish your apprenticeships on Yousty.
- Create a job in Ostendis for this apprenticeship.
- Link the Ostendis job with the Yousty apprenticeship. You can select additional options such as training year or trial apprenticeships.
Note: A single apprenticeship can be advertised on Yousty for several years. However, an Ostendis job is always connected for a specific year. Consequently, an Ostendis job must be opened for each apprenticeship year and can then be connected with the corresponding apprenticeship year on Yousty. Therefore, this must be selected when making the connection.
Furthermore, if a trial apprenticeship is also offered on Yousty for the training, a separate job must be created in Ostendis for this, which is then linked to the Yousty apprenticeship.
Example: Restaurant Tschuggen offers an apprenticeship as a cook starting in 2025, including a trial apprenticeship, and publishes this on Yousty. In Ostendis, two separate jobs must be created for this: one for the apprenticeship and one for the trial apprenticeship. Both jobs are linked to the same apprenticeship listing on Yousty, so that all applications can be correctly assigned and clearly managed in Ostendis. If no trial apprenticeship is offered, of course, only one job needs to be created in Ostendis.
Important Note on Using the Yousty Interface
Direct Integration into Ostendis: Applications received through Yousty are automatically processed as Ostendis CVdropper™ applications. All data – including attachments – are immediately available in your Ostendis account.
Cost Structure:
- For each application received through Yousty, a processing fee of CHF 0.70 is charged, as with a regular application import. This covers the review and structuring of application data by the Ostendis E2O import service.
- The activation of the Customer API, which is required for using the interface, costs a one-time fee of CHF 500.-. This fee is waived if the API has already been activated for other interfaces.
