In the HTML editor, you can link images or icons specifically in advanced mode so that an action is triggered directly when clicked—for example, opening an email window for applicants.
Here's How to Proceed:
First, create a Link Block in the job advertisement. This block is crucial because the link is always placed on the Link Block and not directly on the icon.
Next, place an Icon Block inside the Link Block.
Open the Icon Block properties and change the icon to, for example, an envelope.
Now link the Link Block to an email address in the following format:
mailto:[email protected] Important: Do not select the icon itself, but the “Link Block” as described.
Then, if necessary, adjust the size of the icon under Typography. The icon should be at least 40 pixels in size so that it fills the entire Link Block.
Once these steps are implemented, clicking the envelope icon will directly open the user’s email window. It works the same way if an image is to be linked. In this case, an Image Block must be dragged into the Link Block.
💡 Tip: Place the icon in a clearly visible position, for example in the header or contact area of the job ad. This way, applicants can immediately see how to contact you directly by email, making the contact process much easier.
