Since 2018, mandatory job reporting has been required in Switzerland for certain professions. Starting in 2026, the list of professions subject to mandatory reporting will be significantly expanded. For many companies, this means: more reports to the RAV, a five-day blocking period, and correspondingly more administrative work.
With the new RAV interface directly in Ostendis, this process is now greatly simplified and largely automated.
Naturally free of charge for all Ostendis customers.
What does the RAV interface in Ostendis offer?
Jobs can be reported to the responsible RAV directly from Ostendis. Ostendis supports you not only with the report itself, but also with compliance with the blocking period:
- Automatic preparation of the RAV job report
- Blocking period feedback directly into the job posting
- Automatic prevention of unauthorized publications
- Automatic activation of publications after the blocking period expires
This keeps your recruitment process compliant – without additional effort.
How the RAV interface works in Ostendis
Here we explain step by step how Ostendis’s new RAV interface works.
Important notes
- Jobs reported to the RAV can also be published free of charge in the Job-Room (SECO)
- Publication in the European job portal EURES is also optionally available
- If a job is not subject to mandatory reporting and no publication in Job-Room/EURES is desired, no transmission to the RAV takes place
- The RAV interface can be deactivated if needed under Company → Settings
- The email address of the responsible RAV must be saved once per company location
- The RAV interface is free of charge, but requires the use of our Multiposting
Conclusion:
With the new RAV interface, Ostendis massively reduces the administrative burden around mandatory job reporting, ensures legal compliance, and automates adherence to the blocking period – directly within the existing recruitment process.
